Grapes have loads of vitamins
For some reason, I know a lot of people that do not believe that grapes have vitamins. They say that grapes are mostly just water and don’t have much nutritional value to them. Well that is completely false! Grapes are loaded with vitamins like Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin B, Vitamin B6, and Folate. In fact, a 4 ounce serving of grapes will count for around 20-25% of your daily Vitamin C.
Grapes are rich in minerals
One of the main reasons that grapes should be an important part of your diet is because of the various minerals that your body can use from the grapes. The main minerals in grapes are Potassium and Manganese. These two minerals are very important in having a healthy body. They help in bone health, blood health, can reduce depression, help your immunity, and many other things!
Grapes are great for your heart
The most crucial benefit of eating grapes is the production of antioxidants in your body. Grapes are rich in antioxidants because of the phytonutrients found in them. These antioxidants can greatly improve your heart’s health.

Grapes can reduce the risk of cancer
Studies have proven that drinking a glass of red wine everyday can help lower the risk of lung cancer by 15%. So what if you don’t like wine? Eat red grapes! You can get the same benefits of drinking a glass of wine if you eat a serving of grapes every day. The antioxidant compounds in grapes help get rid of radicals in the body. Grapes can also help reduce the risk of colon cancer and breast cancer. The various compounds found within the grapes help reduce inflammation and provide an anti-oxidative effect.
Grapes can help lower cholesterol
Grapes contain a compound called pterostilbene, which can help lower cholesterol level. Grape skin contains Saponins which can prevent high cholesterol because it binds with the cholesterol making it hard to absorb. Try eating some grapes everyday along with your bowl of cheerios to help lower your cholesterol.
